Dalina Ugarte

Dalina Ugarte is one of the leading talents of the new generation of venezuelan classical musicians, performing both as a soloist and as a chamber musician in some of the most prestigious concert halls in Europe and the Americas.
She began her musical education in her hometown and at the Mozarteum-Caracas under Ruben Camacho. Soon after she started a fruitful collaboration with the most important Orchestras of her country, performing the standard concertante repertoire and earning a reputation with the maturity of her interpretations at a young age.
Dalina then began taking part in international masterclasses (Nice, Gstaad, Nyack, Allegro-Vivo, etc.) where she studied with renowned violinists Ida Haendel, Vadim Repin, Maxim Vengerov and Zakhar Bron, among others.
She moved to Austria in 2012 to study in the MUK in Vienna under Gernot Winischhofer and the Mozarteum in Salzburg under Benjamin Schmid. Laureate in international competitions (Ysaÿe-Belgium, Padova-Italy), she has performed with the Mozarteum Orchester and is often a guest musician at the Camerata Salzburg.
Dalina is a founding member of the Tocuyito Trio, Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now artists since 2018, an ensemble that explores venezuelan popular and traditional music and Bululú (Stage Concerts). She also takes part in diverse crossover, avant-garde and world music projects such as Ensemble Wiener Collage, The Black Page Orchestra and Pool of Invention Ensemble.
